TOBE
Tobe (aka "Peanut") first came to us as a foster. We
had been fostering dogs for HALO for almost 2 years
when we were asked to take him in. He was not getting
along with any of the other dogs and was causing
trouble at Joyce's place. Joyce was concerned that he
might have to be put down if he continued to be
aggressive towards the other dogs and humans. We
agreed to take him in for the weekend until an
adoptive family could be found.

By Monday, Tobe had decided that he was not going
anywhere and he let it be known to all who came to see
him that he would not leave our side. He cried and
howled until we finally called Joyce to tell her that
we had agreed to adopt our little "foster failure."

Thank you, HALO for giving us the opportunity to not
only foster dogs, but to discover our "missing link"
as well. We are eternally grateful for your dedication
to rescuing these incredible animals and giving them a
second chance at life. What a shame it would have been
to let this beautiful baby go because he was simply
"misplaced." I am glad he found his home with us.

Always,
Lisa, Kalli, and Tobe Graham
He is content to be anywhere as long as he is with us.
He lives for being in our arms or by our side wherever
we go. We have been truly blessed to have Tobe in our
lives. Even though we were not looking for a new
addition to our family, he has proven that we do not
always know what is best for ourselves. We knew that
our lives would change by having him but we never
would have guessed how much!
Since then, Tobe has entertained, amused, and
delighted us with his antics and personality. We
recognize the cadence of his footsteps as he bounds up
the stairs or runs around downstairs daring us to
catch him. Although he loves to play, he prefers to do
so by himself as long as we are a captive audience. He
will actually bring a toy near us and wait until we
are watching him before he begins playing with it. If
we should try to grab the toy, however, he will take
it and hide it from us. Apparently, audience
participation is NOT required!

feels very protected with him guarding her!

Tobe and Lisa with his best friend, Brody on Lisa's
birthday. Since Lisa and Kalli don't have any 2-legged children to dress up to go Trick-or-Treating, they dress up their canine friends instead.

Tobe and Lisa in Tahoe during the snow fall. I can't
say he is pleased with the weather!

Tobe trying to get comfortable on Lisa's lap while she
is doing homework. Apparently, he can't just lay comfortably NEXT to Lisa- - he always has to be ON her somehow!

Tobe "helping" Lisa garden. Tobe was supervising the planting without wanting to get his little paws dirty!
