BINGO, BUDDY AND JAKE
(THE THREE AMIGOS)
I have adopted all 3 of my "boys" from HALO and here is their story:

I adopted Bingo In december of 2003 and he is such a sweetie.  It has been
such a joy to watch him blossom.  In October of 2004. I was looking for
another puppy and called Joyce. She told me that she had another Beagle
looking for a home and his name was Buddy. She made it very clear that he
had a bad hip and the vet bills would be outrageous.   he was a little
chubby guy and it was love at first sight.  He has lost weight and is
peeling the paint off the walls .. it is hard to imagine this little bundle
of energy as the same little guy that came home with me 2 years ago.  He was
abandoned and so we don't know any of his history so it was a shock, when
after a couple of months, he had a seizure.  He has had 3 and each one is as
scary as the first for me but he is a little trooper.    He is such a little
love bug that I got to thinking we needed to be doing "something"  .. and I
found Paws for Healing and we have gone through the orientation  and will be
visiting patients at David Grant  medical centre.  He has such a grin on his
face when we're mingling ..  he is so happy to find that there are people
that actually think he is as great as HE thinks he is ..  I have to laugh
out loud at his antics.

Three days after I got Buddy home, Joyce called to say she had a 6 month old
Beagle puppy and would I be interested? My first thought was I had to be
crazy to even consider it but he is home with me so we all know who the
crazy one is ..  20 minutes after getting him home, Bingo was under the bed
and Buddy was on my lap looking for protection.  I have to say he has
"matured" but he is still my ADHD kid as he is either going at 600 mph or
asleep.

They all get along so well and I have to say that I really feel blessed to
have them in my life and I am the one that is the lucky one and and am glad
they decided to give me a chance.
