H.A.L.O. once again participated in Maddie’s Fund Pet Adoption Days, May 30 and 31, 2015. This event covered five counties in three states for a total of 3,273 cats and 2,020 dogs finding new homes. Contra Costa County lead the way with 1092 cats and 727 dogs adopted. H.A.L.O. is honored to be a part of 26 groups from Contra Costa County that participated with a total of 29 dogs and 75 cats during this two day event. Groups were awarded grant money per each adoption, grant amount varying depending on age and health of the pet. This grant money will assist H.A.L.O. with covering medical and fostering costs as well as help with our Little Troopers program. H.A.L.O. would like to thank Maddie’s Fund and the Duffield Family for making this event possible and helping thousands of cats and dogs find their forever homes.
